• 1. Can you explain the role and actions of Grasse Expertise?

Grasse Expertise brings together professionals from the Grasse area involved in the perfumes, aromas, cosmetics and well-being sector. Its role is to federate these actors to preserve and revitalize the territory, its heritage and its know-how of excellence, but also to allow entrepreneurs and their teams to be a lever for innovation and societal and environmental transformation by stimulating collective intelligence.

The actions carried out by Grasse Expertise are diverse. We can mention, for example, the promotion of territorial assets and members at international fairs, the stimulation of collective projects through meetings and conferences organized for its members, as well as the commitment of companies to support the local agriculture of perfume plants.

• 2. What are motivations and contribution of Nature & Technologies in this affiliation?

Nature & Technologies started its activity in 1833 by supplying the first stills for the distillers of perfume plants in Grasse. Over the years, the activity has developed to meet the evolutions and specific needs of perfume industry. It has also expanded to include flavours, cosmetics, nutraceuticals, etc. TNature & Technologies has thus become a key player in these sectors, thanks to its know-how and its mastery of extraction processes. It is therefore quite natural that Tournaire Equipement wished to join the Grasse Expertise and thus confirms its attachment to its territory, which is distinguished by its cultural, artisanal and industrial richness as well as by its exceptional terroir.

As a member of Grasse Expertise, Nature & Technologies actively participates in the dissemination of the know-how of the Grasse region within a complete ecosystem integrating entrepreneurs, creators, experts, farmers, scientists, training organizations, professional associations, institutional and territorial actors as well as competitiveness clusters. Nature & Technologies also contributes to the development of the sector as a driver of innovation through the developments carried out within its test platform WiNatLab™, on extraction processes.

• 3. Through which missions will the collaboration between Nature & Technologies and Grasse Expertise take shape?

The collaboration with Grasse Expertise and its members concerns a wide variety of subjects. Examples include:

. The presentation of the services and technologies offered by Nature & Technologies and in particular its collaborative platform WiNatLab™, during an “afterwork”

. The support of the international Corpo35 Perfume Award competition which reveals the talents of the perfumery of tomorrow, and for which Nature & Technologies has provided equipment etc…

Other confidential actions are also underway with some members, as part of collaborative projects with skills sharing.

• 4. Is it a vector of visibility for Nature & Technologies ?

By joining Grasse Expertise, Nature & Technologies joins a solid collective that stimulates synergies and connections between all the players in a complete ecosystem. The activities of Nature & Technologies are then highlighted at each level of the industry, from agricultural production to the finished product, including research and teaching. Together, the members of Grasse Expertise are also stronger to export their expertise and be known and recognized all over the world.

• 5. What projects do you support alongside them?

Through its membership in Grasse Expertise, Nature & Technologies is committed to supporting the production and the producers of perfume, aromatic and medicinal plants in the territory. In concrete terms, this means:

. Providing financial support to the endowment fund for the preservation of the agricultural heritage of the Pays de Grasse within the framework of the Aromatic Fablab project,

. Sponsoring skills in terms of research and development and providing extraction equipment, within the collaborative testing and development platform WiNatLab™
